Local Government

IIn August, 2009, the City of Rio Vista established its own City Volunteer Program.  All of the volunteer opportunities with the City are included in this program, with the exception of those within the Police and the Fire Departments.

To be a City Volunteer, you will need to apply in writing, undergo LiveScan (fingerprinting), be drug-tested, and sign a release, waiving the City's liability in the event of your injury.

If you are interested in volunteering for the City, you should check out these opportunities on the City's website at www.rio-vista-ca.com and you can then contact the City Manager directly at 374-6451.

We will post here any Volunteer Opportunities at the City of which we are aware;  but, for a complete listing, you should visit their website.
